Roads in and out of Bridlington ‘almost gridlocked’ as Bank Holiday visitors head to the coast…
Motorists are being urged to be patient today (6th May) as the main roads in and out of Bridlington are extremely busy with traffic.
Kingsgate (A165) has seen very heavy volumes of traffic and the roads around Carnaby (A614) and Bridlington Bay Road are also very busy.
Traffic is also queuing on the Scarborough Road into Bridlington, also A165, from the Old Town roundabout, well past the Ward Hills roundabout.
Hold-ups are also reported on Bessingby Hill, at the junction with Bridlington Hospital.
