A well known Bridlington entrepreneur has achieved a remarkable milestone by opening her third shop under the Angela Bare brand.

Angela Langton has opened her newest premises on King Street in Bridlington – her other shops are on Quay Road and in York.
The occasion marks a full-circle journey for her businesses, bringing her back to where it all began for her family.

Said Angela: “I love Brid as many people know me and its my father’s roots – we are an old Bridlingtonian family.
“King Street was a sentimental street for me – I grew up working there with my parents on the market. On my first day at the new shop I touched the bench on the exact spot where their stall had been – it was a very emotional day.”

Angela’s King Street branch sells a large range of ladies wear, footwear, handbags and non wired bras. The Quay Road premises is dedicated to menswear.

“On May 18th, the King Street shop will host a free bra fitting day for our Anita non-wired bra range. These are sold at cost price for ladies who have had mastectomies – a charitable project I have supported for ten years.” explained Angela.
“I have been in business pretty much since I came back from working abroad in 2004. Angela Bare was created in 2013 after an accident saw me unable to work for a short time.” Said Angela.

To celebrate the opening of the King Street shop, Angela is hosting a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party (thanks to Down the Rabbit Hole Tea Parties) this Saturday, (April 29th) from 10am. Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities.
