Members of Bridlington Boxing Club (BBC), who are headquartered at the Club for Young People at the Sports Centre on Gypsey Road, have a new boxing ring cover after a local charitable organisation stepped in to help the group.
Bridlington Round Table heard about the appeal for a new boxing cover for the club and stepped up to the mark to help the club.
Sam Berridge from Round Table said: “We are very happy to support Bridlington CYP with their boxing ring cover.
“They provide a great place for the residents of Bridlington to play sport and give a vital place for
the youth of Bridlington to develop – keeping them off the streets.
“Hopefully this cover will last for the next 10 years at least. This is only the start of our support for this essential community hub.”
Damien Grant from the CYP said; “I would like to thank the members at Bridlington Round Table for helping us out with this much needed piece of equipment. It is a great addition for the club and looks fantastic”
