Bridlington school students have been busy for the last 6 months preparing for their latest production ‘High School Musical Jnr’.

The show will be performed for three nights in The Spa’s Theatre, with performances will take place on Monday 1st, Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th July at 7pm.
Nina Hardy, the Head of Performing Arts at the School, explained: “The production has got over 60 students involved either on stage or in the technical crew from years 7 to 13. The lead roles are being played by April McKellar as Gabriella, and Liam Hatt as Troy with Millie Matheson as Sharpay and Theo Dale as Ryan.

“Liam and Theo are excited to be making their debuts as principle characters this year.
“The staff team this year have worked collaboratively to produce the show and are excited for the students to have the opportunity to perform this high energy show on the Spa’s professional stage.”

Mrs Hardy, who is the Musical Director and producer of the show, added: “I would encourage as many people as possible to come and support the local children.
“They have worked so hard for this and it is a real ‘feel good’ show. I would also like to thank the staff at the Spa for their support and collaboration with the show.”
