A well-known Bridlington gardener, entertainer and horticulture advocate known as the ‘Laughing Gardener’ is preparing to publish his first-ever book, with Tales of the Laughing Gardener set for public release on March 7 through Amazon.
Paul Robinson has created the £11.99 paperback which combines humour, gardening advice and heartfelt stories drawn from more than 355 live Laughing Gardener shows performed across the region. Paul says the book reflects not only his passion for plants but also his long-standing work supporting people with learning disabilities through horticulture and sport.
A launch and signing event will take place from 12pm to 2pm at Old Town Book on High Street in Bridlington Old Town on Saturday 7 March , where visitors can meet the author, purchase copies and hear stories behind the project. Paul says he hopes both gardeners and non-gardeners will enjoy the humour, charity chapters, and personal experiences.
