Two people were successfully rescued by Filey lifeboat after becoming lost along the coast just north of Filey.
After receiving reports of the two casualties missing between the Blue Dolphin caravan park and Filey Brigg around 19:30 on Monday 27th September, RNLI crews used advanced thermal imaging binoculars to locate them.
The Filey Coastguard Rescue Team were also integral in assisting with the search, conducting shore operations to help with pinpointing the location.
The two had become stranded on the beach when it grew dark, but were eventually taken back to the holiday park by the coastguard.
