The event will take place on Monday, 22 December, from 11am to 2pm at the Evron Centre, and promises a range of seasonal activities for children and adults alike.
One of the highlights will be a special Santa’s Grotto set inside a police van, where youngsters will have the chance to meet Father Christmas. The first 250 children to attend will also receive a free gift.
Visitors can enjoy festive crafts, children’s entertainment, and browse a variety of stalls throughout the day. Officers from Filey Police will also be available to offer crime prevention advice for the festive period, as well as to chat with residents and strengthen links within the community.

A spokesperson for Filey Police said they hope the event will bring people together and help spread seasonal cheer: “This is a great chance for families to enjoy some Christmas fun while meeting their local officers. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone.”
The event is open to all, and organisers are encouraging the community to come along and join the celebrations.
