Flamborough village is all set to host
another Flowerpot extravaganza…and
rumours are that Elvis will be coming to visit
The Flamborough Flower Pot Festival starts on Saturday 1st June and
runs until the 30th June and all money raised at this years event will go to the
local primary school and
Brownies.
Already, the Bridbeat Charity Singers have supported the group at a
May Quiz Night and raised £321.
Said Organiser and FFPF Chairperson Julie Sanders: “We have, through our free Potty Craft Workshops, got more large group models being created ready to show themselves in gardens, public spaces, pubs and cafes.
“Rumour has it that Elvis will be in Flamborough along with magical
creatures, giant vikings and Potty creations to delight and surprise!”
Trail maps costing £2 will be on sale from local shops and cafes. There will
also be a pop up gazebo selling maps, Festival badges and fridge magnets.
Added Julie: “Everyone is invited and will get a warm welcome at the
Flamborough Flower Pot Festival – its free, fun and potty.
