Headlands school musical production of Shrek Jr was declared a great success after all the performances played to full houses.
The iconic show had a cast of 60 students from years 7 -13 and provided a series of throughly entertaining evenings.
Directed by Cath Morgan who is the Director of Performing Arts, she explained: “Shrek JR is an adaptation of the Dreamworks animation film, created especially for young people to perform and features everyone’s favourite characters – Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona and a range of wacky fairytale characters – not forgetting the iconic but short Lord Farquaad.”
“Our production of Shrek Jr was extremely popular and we hope all guests enjoyed themselves as much as the talented cast and dedicated backstage teams.” added Cath.
