On Tuesday, 17 June, The Hinge Centre welcomed 14 attendees for the inaugural meeting of Café Neuro Brid.
Inspired by Café Neuro York, which has been successfully operating since 2018, Café Neuro Brid serves as a supportive friendship group for individuals living with neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neurone disease (MND), Parkinson’s, brain injuries, and more. The primary aim is to create a welcoming space for those affected by these illnesses to connect and socialise.
The next gathering is scheduled for 15 July, where participants can enjoy a cup of coffee while chatting, sharing ideas for future topics of discussion, and raising any other thoughts or concerns they may have.
Café Neuro Brid will meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 10:30am to 12:00 noon.
