A businesswoman who runs a horse stud based at Thornholme, near Bridlington, has received a business boost from retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.

Jo Milnes, owner of West End Farm Stud, tweeted Theo about her business during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet or repost by Theo to his over half a million X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram followers.
The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 3,750 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

Jo, who runs the horse stud with her daughter, Charlotte said: “Whilst we have been running the stud for many years it is great to have support from Theo at a time when we are trying to raise our profile.”
Theo re‐tweeted Jo’s message, which included their values and was aimed at responsible horse breeding to over 500,000 Twitter and Instagram followers and as a result, West End Farm Stud has increased followers on X and is hoping that the stud’s message of support for those new to breeding horses is spread wider.

They are also profiled on the #SBS website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.
Anyone looking for a re‐tweet from Theo should tweet on X or do an Instagram post to him about their business on Sunday between 5.00pm – 7.30pm and include the hashtag #SBS.
Six lucky businesses are re‐tweeted every Monday at 8.00pm and then invited to enter their profile on the new website, attend the annual #SBS networking event and take advantage of the networking opportunities.
