Several roads in the Bridlington area have been flooded after further torrential rain has fallen in the area.
Flooding has affected Buckton Gate, which is one of the main roads out of Bridlington, with reports that the road from Bempton to Reighton being described as ‘treacherous’ by one motorist who decided to turn around.
Motorists are being urged not to risk going through floodwater and finding alternative routes.
Reports have also been coming in of difficult travelling conditions on the road between Bridlington and Driffield on the A614.
