Bridlington households took up the challenge to brighten up the town over Christmas and the New Year.
The Bridlington Echo, in conjunction with Bridlington Town Council, once again held the Residential Outside Christmas Decoration Competition.
Bridlington Town Council generously provided a gift voucher valued at £100 for the winner of the competition. There was also be a £30 voucher for second prize and a £20 voucher for third.
Pictures and videos were uploaded to the Echo Facebook page and entrants were urged to share the posting and ask for people to like their entry. The posting that gained the most likes was selected as the winner, with two runners up prize.
The overall winners were:
First. Martin Middleton and his house on St Andrew Road.

Second. Ben Daniels’ house on Pinfold Lane.

Third. Adele Shelton shone with her entry.

Bridlington Mayor, Cllr Liam Dealtry, said: “This competition helped to get the town lit up for Christmas. Every year I am amazed by how much effort is put in by some of the householders and well done to all the winners and those whose entered.”
*Winners and runners up are asked to conatct Bridlington Town Council to arrange to collect their prize from the office on Marshall Avenue.
