There are new faces in charge of the hospitality and catering operation at the Belvedere Brasserie based at Bridlington Golf Club.
Business partners Mark Ayliffe and Lisa Cray have already made a flying start by serving over hundred people in the restaurant for Sunday Carvery during their first week.

As well as traditional Sunday lunches, the couple are already making changes to the menu, with several innovative and unique dishes being created for customers.

Visitors to the restaurant do not have to be members at the golf club and everyone is welcome – though booking is strongly recommended.
Mark, who is originally from Bridlington, has previously worked at the Hilton in London and also in Lithuania running a restaurant which saw president’s, diplomatic staff and ex-pats amongst its clients.

Lisa, who is originally from Halifax, was a catering manager for almost ten years and has also managed pub restaurants. She also owned a coffee shop and has worked at the golf club for six years.
“The town is situated in one of the most beautiful coastlines and the Belvedere Brasserie itself is situated within the golf club grounds which is also a beautiful setting and also great place to work.” explained Lisa.

“We have already made changes and updated the restaurant with some personal touches which we think makes it feel a bit more welcoming. We have changed the menu which now has a wide choice of meals and light bites for all tastes.
“The Sunday Carvery – which runs from 12 noon – has proved to be a great success already. We will also be doing theme nights and opening for Christmas Lunch.
“We would like to make the Belvedere Brasserie a ‘go-to venue’ for members, hotel guests, visiting groups and locals the club is open to non-members which a lot of people don’t realise.”

“We cater for all functions and it’s a beautiful setting for a wedding.” added Lisa.
