Bridlington RUFC travel to Halifax Vandals in the hope of making it four victories from four to keep them at the top of the Yorkshire RFU 2 Counties Championship.
After a hard-fought victory last Saturday over Ossett, the blue and gold’s will be looking to keep the momentum going.
Last Saturday saw a tight victory in a match full of excitement, with Brid running out 35-31 victors.
Head Coach Callam Sanderson said this ahead of tomorrow’s clash against the West Yorkshire Halifax- based team: “I think that this is going to be our toughest test so far, I’m definitely expecting a battle against Halifax, we’re not really sure what to expect from them being a team that we haven’t played before.
“From what we have heard about them that they have got a really good forward pack, so once again I’m really expecting a good battle up front, we’re just looking to keep our momentum up in the league with 3 wins from 3.
“The challenge for us is putting an 80 minute performance in. We are possibly looking at putting out our strongest squad so far this season, we have looked strong this week in training and we glad to welcome back some familiar faces.”
Halifax had a tough encounter of their own last Saturday, grinding out a 13-0 victory over Huddersfield Laund Hill, in difficult conditions, controlling territory and possession. They will also be looking to build on their own performance as Bridlington are hoping to bounce back to Yorkshire 1 at the first opportunity.
