A ‘Music for a Summer Evening’ concert will take place at St John’s Burlington Methodist Church to help raise funds for the restoration of the church organ.
The concert will feature Jessica Kneeshaw (soprano) and Heidi Kneeshaw (accompanist) and church organist Stephen Parker.
Jessica, (19) who is from Beverley is in her first year of undergraduate study at the Royal Academy of Music and Stephen Parker is a Fellow of the Guild of Musicians and Singers.
In June last year, the church launched a fundraising appeal to restore the organ in order to secure its future at an estimated cost of £115,000, so far they have managed to raise £45,000 to complete phase one.
