Two of the local Lifeboat stations in the area have hosted two drivers and their Porsche super-car today, Sunday, 3rd September.

Bridlington and Flamborough RNLI crew, volunteers and vistors greeted the Porsche 2023 RNLI-911 Challenge, with drivers Belinda and James Richardson on a mission to raise funds for the charity that ‘saves lives at sea.’

They will be visiting a total of 116 lifeboat stations in England, the Channel Islands and the Isles of Wight, Scilly and Man over the course of 23 days to raise funds for a new D-class lifeboat for the RNLI relief fleet.

The RNLI-911 Challenge team stopped for an hour at Bridlington and then headed up the coast to Flamborough RNLI.

This visit was station call number 54 of their 2023 challenge before driving further up the north east of the country.
