Thousands of visitors are expected to descend on Bridlington Old Town this summer as the Bridlington Old Town Vintage Festival returns on Sunday, June 28, promising a packed day of live entertainment, vintage shopping and family fun.

Set against the backdrop of Bridlington’s historic Old Town, the popular festival will once again transform the area into a celebration of all things vintage, attracting families, collectors and lovers of retro style from across the region.

Organised by Regeneration of Bridlington Old Town (ROBOT) in partnership with Bridlington Town Council, the festival has become one of the town’s most anticipated annual events, with independent shops, cafés, pubs, galleries and market stalls joining in the celebrations.

The event will be officially opened at 10.30am by Bridlington-born TV and radio personality Jack Marriner-Brown, best known for his appearance on The Traitors, regular features on BBC Morning Live and his work on BBC Radio Humberside.
Jack said: “I’m really looking forward to opening the Vintage Festival and having a walk around the high street meeting locals and visitors. Come up and say hello.”

The day after the festival, Jack will feature as part of the BBC’s Wimbledon coverage, entertaining audiences with his trademark walkabouts and interviews with players, personalities and guests.
ROBOT Chair Vicky Barton said organisers were excited to welcome visitors back.

“The Vintage Festival will bring lots of fantastic sights, sounds and an historic feel to the lovely Old Town,” she said.
“In conjunction with Bridlington Town Council, who have generously supported the event, we are hoping for bumper crowds. There will be something for everyone, with lots of street entertainment and music.

“There will be prizes for the Best Dressed Competition and, alongside the stalls, the shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants will all be opening up and giving a Bridlington welcome to visitors and locals alike.”
