Free crème eggs will be handed out to all children travelling with an adult. Customers who show the Easter Bunny YCCRP’s Traxplorer app on their phone will receive a special code to unlock an exclusive Easter item for their in-app character.

Rachel Osborne, YCCRP rail officer, said: “We love doing our Easter specials – they are always such fun and are a great way of encouraging families to use the trains.”🚆

Several special events will also be taking place along the route throughout the day.

Jessica Clarke, community and sustainability manager for Northern, said: “We’re really proud to support the Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership with this event, which is always a huge hit with families.

“It will be a fun-filled adventure with plenty of chocolate, community spirit and incredible coastal views from the train – we can’t wait to welcome some very happy faces on board.”
