A shop and residential premises on High Street in Bridlington Old Town were left counting the cost after windows were deliberately smashed last night (25th October).
The Mlkwood shop and a residential premises opposite the Board Inn suffered deliberate damage during the early evening.
Lauren Jarvis from Mlkwood was looking forward to opening her shop this morning as the business was celebrating its sixth birthday.
Said Lauren: “I had balloons and cakes all ready to celebrate our sixth year in the shop, but seeing the smashed door window put a real downer on the day.”
Police are aware of the situation and several businesses have come forward with CCTV which may help find the culprit.
