Bridlington RNLI got a wonderful boost thanks to a kind- heatered pub regular from the Beaconsfield Arms on Flamborough Road in the town.
As part of a fundraising drive, two Bridlington Lifeboat crew volunteers Kristina and Tabitha, raised hundreds of pounds after recently taking part in a sponsored Parachute jump.

After hearing about their skydiving exploits, a kind-hearted pub regular from the Beaconsfield decided to double what they had already raised and added another £500 to the fundraising pot.
A spokesman for Bridlington RNLI explained: “We were delighted to be joined by Lesley Gafney, landlady of the Beaconsfield.

“She came along with £500.00 in cash from one of the regulars, who was generous enough to match fund the money raised by crew members, Kristina and Tabatha from their parachute jump.
The donations has now taken the skydiving fund to a total of £1145.00 after more funds were donated to the charity.

“Well done and thank you for the support from the lovely people at the Beaconsfield pub.” added the spokesman.
