Having a haircut will hopefully lead to a Bridlington man raising over £1000 for a charity that is close to his family.

Callum Irvine will undergo a head shave for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) on Saturday, 4 February at the Crown Barbers on Queensgate.

“I have already raised quite a lot from my JustGiving page and have been in contact with the MNDA and I have full backing from them. This charity means a lot to me and my family – as the bravest man I know is currently battling the horrible disease – my dad.” said Callum.

“Donating to the MNDA doesn’t just help my dad, but many others who are also affected by it, including helping the families of those effected. Callum.‘ explained Callum.
“This has all been in aid of my dad, who currently suffers with this disease and struggles on a day to day basis.”

And as a fun twist to the fundraising, the highest donator gets to physically cut off Callum’s ponytail. The bidding closes on the 31 January but I will
continuing the fundraiser until the end of February.
