A Bridlington-based chef has been made an ambassador for a company which makes ‘top of the range’ pizza ovens.

Since kickstarting his career in the food business at Burton Agnes Hall, Adam Gardener has been a chef and catering manager for the last 12 years.
To build on his catering portfolio, Adam and his employers renovated an old ice cream trailer into a pizza trailer and began learning as much as he could about pizza.

Adam turned to pizza oven maker Gozney to aid in the development of becoming a pizzaiolo and took his employers and himself across the country to Gozney HQ in Christchurch, Dorset to engage in some training.
Since then, making pizza has become Adam’s priority as he loves the feeling of cooking in a wood fired oven.

Throughout COVID, as Burton Agnes had an outdoor space, Adam could still sell food as his pizza trailer allowed him to cater to this market.
This led him to push even harder at mastering the art of pizza, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Then, in 2022, Adam decided he wanted to begin selling pizza himself.

Using Gozney’s award-winning portable Roccbox, he started travelling around Yorkshire cooking at pop ups and private events – which he did alongside his catering job.
Dedicating his spare time to progress in his solo side hustle meant that demand was high, with Adam spinning pizzas every day.

With this taste for success, Adam doesn’t plan to stop there as his goal is to open up a pizza restaurant in the near future and is currently working to make this a reality.
He has also racked up a large following on Instagram (@adamgpizza), documenting his latest pizza adventures to over 100K followers, and is an ambassador for Gozney.
