A Bridlington resident, who has written over twenty books – some
which are well-known bestsellers – has had another book published.

Old Town resident Graham (GP) Taylor say he is an unlikely candidate to become an international best selling author.
Born on a large seaside council estate, his start in life was very rocky with him being expelled from school and
eventually running away to London with a group of lads from Bridlington
(including Brid pop star Steve Skinner who played in Orange Juice) and
getting a job in the music business.

Graham says that it all went wrong after a few years as the bright lights of
London faded and he came back up North and joined the police.
As a young copper he was sent to work in Northallerton, later going to Pickering and working in ‘Heartbeat’ country.

Graham then trained to be a part-time priest. He did both jobs at the same
time until he was injured on duty.
Later, he was appointed as vicar of Cloughton, near Scarborough, and
it was here he wrote Shadowmancer which was a world wide best seller. A
further 20 books followed with Mariah Mundi being made into a Hollywood
film.
Severe ill health forced Graham to retire fromnthe church, though he
continued to write.

Said Graham: “Pig in the Pulpit is a fictional account of my time as a policeman and priest and follows the life of Peter Barnes a young copper who is also a parish priest. It is a murder story with a difference that has already had interest from a TV production company.”
The book is out this November and hopefully Graham is planning a book
signing in Bridlington Old Town.
