At 9.13pm on 28th April, the Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) was dispatched following concerns for two individuals paddling a small rubber boat on Bridlington South Beach, near to the Spa.
Upon arrival, the team found the pair dragging their boat up the beach.
Although they lacked navigation lights, both individuals were wearing buoyancy aids and were in possession of a radio.
The Coastguard provided safety advice before ensuring the situation was resolved without incident.
The CRT reminds beachgoers to adhere to safety regulations when engaging in water activities, particularly in low-light conditions.
