Bridlington Fire Station will bring hoses, buckets and community spirit together this Saturday, March 21, as crews host a charity car wash on Bessingby Road. Starting at 10am and running until around 1pm.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to get their vehicles cleaned while supporting two good causes.
Firefighters will work alongside volunteers from Bridlington Cricket Club, with all proceeds split evenly. A minimum donation of £5 is suggested, though visitors are encouraged to give what they can.
Funds raised will help the Firefighters Charity continue providing rehabilitation and support services for serving and retired firefighters and their families nationwide. Meanwhile, the cricket club will put its share into preparations for the upcoming season.
Organisers say the station has proudly supported similar fundraising efforts for several years and hopes for another strong turnout.
Motorists are encouraged to stop and help make a difference and everyone is welcome to attend and support the cause.
