A Bridlington Florist is raising funds for a local hospice by creating certificates for youngsters who would like to be on Santa Claus’ specially selected ‘good list’ this Christmas.

Sara Suggitt who runs the Oops a Daisy Florists in Bridlington explained: “We’ve had a very special phone call from Santa and he has asked us to compile a nice list for him as we are looking to raise funds for St. Catherine’s hospice.
“The lists will be displayed across our shop windows for the children to come down and find their names”

“We do not want to exclude anyone from joining in so names on the list are for donation only.
“However if you donate £2 or more your child will receive a certificate and a lolly donated by Sweet Treats in Old Town.”

Participants are asked to call in to Oops-a-Daisy Florist on Quay Road with their child’s name clearly written on a piece of paper. The cash donation which will be collected for St Catherine’s Hospice to help with the day to day running of the Scarborough facility.
“We will be taking names up to the 11th November and children and parents can then call in and collect their certificate and lolly. The names will appear with some elf assistance from the 18th November giving plenty of time for people to pop in and see their own names.” added Sara.
