Two Bridlington pubs have been chosen for awards by the members of the Yorkshire Wolds Branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).

The Old Ship Inn in Bridlington was voted CAMRA Pub of the Year for the second year in a row and has achieved a 5-star cellar rating from both Beer Marque and Cask Marque.
The St John Street pub has been featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for three consecutive years and is run by Lena and Mark Pennington.

The citation from CAMRA says: ‘They source their cask ale from a variety of brewers nationwide.’
‘There is always an array of beers available that range from golden to dark and from light to strong, ensuring there is something for everyone.’

In Bridlington town centre, the Three B’s micro pub, based on Marshall Avenue in Bridlington, is celebrating a double win in the competition – for Yorkshire Wolds Real Ale Pub and Real Cider Pub of the Year.
The votes were cast by CAMRA members who took part in the annual poll recently.

Owners Mark and Cheryl Bates said: “We constantly receive positive comments and top reviews as having the best Real Ales and Ciders for miles around, so it is great that we are receiving this double award from CAMRA.”
