Two Bridlington-based majorettes are hoping to represent England in Liverpool later this year.
Lily Greef, pictured left, and Kat Robson have both been very successful majorettes since childhood, winning many auspicious titles over the years.

But their majorette career reached new heights when they were recently selected to represent their country as members of Team England.
They will be performing in several England teams during August in the International Baton Twirling Federation World Majorette Championships,
which is being held at the M&S Arena in Liverpool.
Pat Robson, who is their coach and also the England team coach explained: “Their journey so far has been both arduous and costly, with monthly 6 hour training sessions held in the West Riding and Redditch.

“Lily and Kat have already personally invested £500 each in uniforms costs, hotel bookings and travel costs to attend the training venues, with a further £100 due for uniforms and £125 due shortly for hotel rooms in Liverpool.
The duo also need to provide new dance shoes, batons, team tracksuits, travel costs to and from training also rail travel to Liverpool at approximately £100 each.
Pat added: “The financial cost of being selected to represent their country is high, and unfortunately they have not been able to find a sponsor.
“However, they both heartily agree that the huge honour of being asked to represent their country in a World Championships, is worth every penny spent getting there.

“Competing against countries from around the World will be an experience they will never forget.”
