Jess Saltmer from Flamborough, founder of Walkies and Adventures, is set to embark on a sponsored event this September, aiming to walk 150 miles in support of the Children’s Air Ambulance.
This cause holds personal significance for Jess, as her son Arthur was transported to another hospital by the air ambulance after being born prematurely.
To give back, Jess hopes to raise funds for their vital work and will document her walks throughout the month.
The Children’s Air Ambulance provides crucial inter-hospital transfers for critically ill children.
