Each year, the Bridlington Red Admirals Majorettes take part in a fundraising effort to support charities close to their hearts, such as Andys Man Club & CDH UK.

This year, the group decided to take part in the Cancer Research skipping challenge, where each day everyone involved did their 100 skips and sent in videos.
Said Laura Collinson, who is the Committee Secretary of the Red Admirals:

“On training nights, they all joined together in the Bridlington CYP training hall to do a mass skip, with snippets of the skipping being uploaded to their social media platforms.
“Thanks to everyone’s hard work, they were able to raise an incredible £700 for this admirable cause.

“The Majorettes extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part or sponsored them in any way.”

The group also have sessions for Disco Pom on Tuesday evenings and Baton Dance Twirl on a Thursday evening – both at CYP.
Times for these are depending on age groups.
The group also will be competing in the Universal Championships which are coming up during the October/ November half term.
Fortunately the teams won’t have to travel too far as the event is being held at the Spa in Bridlington.
