Councillor Mike Heslop Mullens takes over the mayoral chain from outgoing Mayor Cllr Angie Walker and her consort Graham, following a vote by fellow members of Bridlington Town Council.

As he begins his term in office, the new Mayor has selected the Spotlight Theatre as his chosen charity, with fundraising and support expected to take place throughout the year.
