Haven, Primrose Valley located between Bridlington and Filey, has recently unveiled the very first Wetherspoons pub at a holiday park.

The new pub, previously known as the Mash and Barrel, has been renamed Five Stones to pay homage to the area’s Roman past.
In the 19th century, five large stone blocks were discovered on Filey beach, believed to have supported a 4th-century Roman signal station.

These impressive stones, standing at 30 meters high and 14 meters square, featured a beacon that would be lit to warn of approaching ships.
Pub manager Andy Milner expressed his excitement about welcoming owners and holidaymakers to the brand-new pub, Five Stones, at the start of the season.

Wetherspoons Commercial Director, Michael Barron, also shared his anticipation for the pub to be a valued addition to Primrose Valley Holiday Park.

Wetherspoons spokesman Eddie Gershon says traditional breakfasts with free £1.56 tea, coffee and hot chocolate re-fills alongside the extensive cut-price bar offerings are the chain’s biggest draw.

With competitive pricing and a diverse range of menu offerings, Wetherspoons is renowned for attracting customers with its traditional breakfasts and cut-price bar options.
This venture at Primrose Valley Holiday Park, part of Haven’s significant investment in food and drink facilities, is set to enhance the overall experience for guests.

The partnership with Wetherspoons is just one of several collaborations Haven has established, including popular brands like Burger King and Papa Johns.
Front of house staff member Paul Hart, who has been with the company for 18 years, emphasised the importance of providing guests with top-notch pub and restaurant amenities for a relaxing stay.
