A Bridlington singing group will be bringing their own vintage show to the Bridlington Priory on 2 July.

The Party at the Priory will feature an evening of pop songs and classics by Coastal Voices to ‘celebatre the rebirth of the 20’s’

The event is also marking the Jubilee year for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and will be led by locally-based conductor Alex Weatherhill.

A spokesperson for the group, said: “Coastal Voices will take to the stage in celebration of the
new 20’s (the last 2 years don’t count) and the Platinum Jubilee. Why not dress up, vintage style, and join us for songs of celebration old and new with classics from the last 100 years of popular song.

The roaring 20’s, glamorous 30’s, boogie 40’s are celebrated through Act 1 – not necessarily with the songs you would expect – and an all British line up of songs will celebrate the reign of HM The Queen in Act 2. “So, whether it’s Beatles or Bon Jovi, Sandé or Springfield you enjoy, there will be something for you.”

Tickets are priced at £10 or £5 for audio only seats. Call 07434 434759 or visit www.scbo. co.uk.
