Reighton Nurseries has hailed the visit of celebrity gardener Joe Swift as a huge success, as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.
The Gardeners’ World presenter was given a tour of the nursery before taking part in three question-and-answer sessions hosted by Richard Ogden of Reighton Nurseries. Visitors also had the chance to meet Joe, take photographs and collect autographs after the talks.
A charity raffle featuring 82 prizes, donated by friends and supporters of the business, was held during the event. The day raised £4,877 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
