A beach clean is being held at Fraisthorpe tomorrow, Sunday 25th October, from 10am to 12pm, organised by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and YWT Living Seas.

Volunteers are asked to book online in advance, then simply turn up on the day. Litter pickers, gloves and bags are provided. Organisers advise dressing for the weather, as conditions on the North Sea coast can be brisk.

The meeting point is the beach entrance at Fraisthorpe Beach Car Park. The event is open to anyone, though groups of five or more are asked to arrange a separate session through the Wild Work Day scheme to keep spaces available for the wider public.

Free places can be booked at ywt.org.uk/our-events/beach-cleans
