It is understood that a vital clinical service is set be reinstated at Bridlington Hospital.
The Bridlington Health Forum (BHF) has been informed by the Chair of York and Scarborough Trust that a weekly Dermatology Clinic will return to Bridlington and District Hospital.
Appointments were moved to Scarborough Hospital, meaning many local patients had to make the journey to receive ongoing treatment and appointments.
The clinics are set to commence in June and those with appointments have been informed of the change.
We are again waiting for confirmation of this from the York and Scarborough NHS Trust.
