Some impressive pictures have been sent to the Echo today, with the sea conditions looking decidedly rough.
The bad news, if you don’t like the cold, is that snow is forecast from tomorrow afternoon, with intermittent snow showers clipping the coast for the rest of the week.
As is sometimes the case, the forecast is not always correct so it may be rain that persists in our area.
This coupled with a strong easterly wind will make the temperature feel very cold with a wind chill factor of up to -3 degrees.
Thanks to Tom Fynn, Ron Wilsher Snr and Jenny Tindall for sending in these stunning images.
