There will be classic cars of all shapes and sizes this Sunday (22 August) as a car rally assembles at Burton Fleming.
The Great Wold Valley Run, organised by Paul Garbutt, will see dozens of weird and wonderful vintage vehicles and bikes assemble at the village hall on South Street/ Bridlington Road.
Paul also organises the hugely popular Backfire Promotions Race the Waves event which was held on Bridlington South Beach for two years until the pandemic restrictions stopped the 2020 and 2021 events. He is planning to have the event back on track next year.
The Burton Fleming event will run from10.30am until 1.pm and proceeds from the day will go towards the village playground fund.
As well as a range of vehicle and bikes from yesteryear, there will be a tombola, bric-a-brac and several other stalls. Hot and cold drinks and homemade food will also be available to help along the community fundraising day.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance stand will also be in attendance and the two mascots from the charity will be making an appearance or two.
There are a few spaces left for a couple of stalls and stands. Those interested are asked to call Emma Hayton on 07590 558656
