Residents and visitors are being invited to enjoy a packed weekend of community events as the Bridlington Old Town Association prepares to host both its annual Summer Fete and the popular Secret Gardens trail.

The Summer Fete will take place on Church Green from 10am until 4pm on Sunday, June 21, featuring vintage, craft, plant and collectables stalls, as well as food, drinks and ice cream.

Entertainment throughout the day will include performances from Harry Traves, Coastal Voices, the Makara Morris Dancers and The Laughing Gardener.

Cakes and refreshments will also be available in the Priory Rooms.
Alongside the fete, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Secret Gardens of Old Town event across Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21, from 10am to 4pm daily.

Organisers say several new gardens have been added to this year’s trail, giving people the chance to discover hidden outdoor spaces rarely open to the public.
Weekend tickets for the Secret Gardens trail are priced at £5 and can be purchased from Sweet Treats on High Street, the Priory Shop on Church Green, The Bull and Sun on Kirkgate, Georgian Tea Rooms on High Street, and Curiosity @ The Old Chemist on High Street.

The Bridlington Old Town Association hopes the combined events will encourage residents and tourists alike to explore the historic Old Town area, support local businesses and enjoy a weekend celebrating community spirit, entertainment and heritage in one of the town’s best-loved locations.

The following Sunday, the annual Vintage Festival will come to High Street in Old Town with a start time of 10.30am the road will be closed to vehicles for the day.
