The RNLI have repeated warnings to the public to be extremely cautious near the sea… especially on the promenades and open beaches.
The RSPB visitor centre at Bempton cliffs will remain closed while they assess damage caused by the wind.
They have said that due to the extreme wind the reserve is not safe today and would strongly advise any visitors to reschedule their visit.
