Bridlington-based solicitors Murray Hills have added another £500 towards the Yorkshire Air Ambulance appeal which has been designated charity of the year by a local estate agent.
Tara Cummings, who is the branch manager for D. Dunk, Lewis and Graves, helped to organise an eight mile sponsored walk last month, and the team of six from Murray Hills raised £500 to add to the fundraising efforts.
“After the fantastic charity walk event I am delighted that the team at Murray Hills Solicitors have raised £500 to add to our pot which currently stands at £2498.00.”
With two further events left this year – a market fundraiser on King Street and a parachute jump – the charity coffers of the YAA will hopefully be swelled by the local fundraising efforts. Added Tara:“Murray Hills support us greatly with all our conveyancing needs and other legal advice – I am a huge believer in keeping support local.”

*Bridlington fundraiser Helen Clifton (pictured) has also been busy fundraising for the YAA. Along with a group of volunteers. Helen presented the YAA with a cheque for £2,000 from the sale of surgical caps and face masks and other fundraising activities.
**Staff at the Hull & East Yorkshire Credit Union branch on Prospect Street in Bridlington will be taking part in a sponsored cycle, staring 28th June and finishing on 2nd July. CEO John Smith will also be on his exercise bike at the branch, along with other staff members on Friday 2nd to help raise funds for the YAA.
