Humberside Police have released this statement after a weapon, class A drugs and cash were seized from an address on West Hill in Bridlington.
“Plain clothed officers from our proactive organised crime group team have arrested a wanted man after they conducted arrest attempts at an address on Bessingby Gate in Bridlington this morning (Wednesday, 25 March 2026).

Upon forcing entry into the address, a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and recall to prison.
A search of the property uncovered a quantity of cash, multiple mobile phones, along with a quantity of class A drugs and a weapon, which have all been seized from the address.
Proactive officers form part of our Kinetic Organised Crime Group Teams based across both sides of the Humber; it’s all in the name, but the teams focus on tackling serious and organised crime across our force area.
The impact crimes of this nature have on the local community cannot be underestimated, and enforcement activity like this is key to tackling and disrupting criminals, deterring them away from operating in our area, and holding them accountable for their actions.

We always encourage anyone who has information or concerns about crime within their community, please speak to officers when you see them out and about.
You can also report online, via our non-emergency number 101 or contacting us in an emergency on 999.”
Don’t forget you can also report anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
