Santa and his fantastic sleigh have been getting ready to tour around Bridlington and beyond again this December with the help of the town’s Round Table organisation.
The annual procession, with Father Christmas sat on his brightly lit sleigh, will be followed by Round Table volunteers collecting for local good causes.

Sam Berridge, who is Treasurer of Round Table, said: “We are hoping to beat the total we raised last year and aim for the £8000 mark this year.”

“There will be an appearance by Santa with the sleigh at the Old Town Dickensian Festival, and then we will be travelling around Bridlington over eight nights, plus one extra night at Beeford and Barmston. We will be handing out sweets and collecting donations for local good causes. It is a wonderful time of the year and it is fantastic to see the faces of youngsters (and adults) light up when we arrive on their street.”

Please note. The Round Table Santa’s Sleigh is run entirely by volunteers and cannot cover every road in Bridlington during the allocated nights of operation. Also a route may not run if there is any inclement weather. The Echo will update our followers daily on routes and if there are any change of plans.
