These superb images of the Red Arrows display team were taken by Echo photographer Rod Newton this afternoon (25 June) as the aircraft flew over Scarborough as part of the National Armed Forces Day event.
The images were taken from a high vantage point near to Hunmanby, and show the intricate manoeuvres that were undertaken by the world-famous pilots.
Said Rod: “I parked up on the road to Hunmanby and got these photos of the Red Arrows.
“The display was 9 miles away but as they left Scarborough they did fly over me so I got even more images.”
