Outdoor swimming and water safety sessions are returning to Bridlington this August.
Swim safe is a billed as a fun, free opportunity for youngsters aged between 7 -14 to learn how to keep themselves safe when swimming outdoors.
Children have the chance to take part in the fun, practical, interactive Swim Safe sessions on Bridlington South Beach – week commencing 16th August.
Each hour-long session is free and includes safety advice from qualified lifeguards and up to 30 minutes in-water tuition.
Participants must be able to swim at least 25 metres.
The Swim safe events can be adapted for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Parents are required to stay for the hour-long session their child partakes in.
Volunteers are also needed to help set up the site, along with sizing and cleaning wetsuits.
To book your place visit www.swimsafe.org.uk or turn up on the day from 10.am. – with the last hourly session at 3.pm
