Returning to Bridlington after living in Tasmania for 15 years, Jen Bakes, is rapidly becoming a name upon the lips of many seeking top class beauty treatments.

The mum to three young boys, has opened a brand new aesthetics and beauty salon ‘Angel Face’ on Richmond Street in the town.
Jen, 37, says: “I have worked in beauty since leaving school and I owned a salon in Tasmania so when I saw this shop was available, I didn’t hesitate.

“I do anti-wrinkle injections, fillers, advance aesthetics, brow treatments, eyelashes, waxing, nails and fat dissolving amongst other treatments.”
Jen’s handyman husband Shannon ‘Tasman’ has refurbished the entire shop space to accommodate the new beauty salon.

“The ambience is superb with clients commenting on the calming and peaceful atmosphere.
“I like to make all my clients feel comfortable, this is my passion and as it can be a first time experience for some, it is important they feel comfortable all round.”
And men are also trying the new treatments after seeing the positive results of others who are looking fresher, younger and feeling more confident.

Jen added: “Aesthetic treatments will be around for a long time to come. It is not a fad, I believe it will continue to grow and grow.
“Beauty and cosmetics mesh so well together. The beauty industry has boomed with more people accessing newer treatments and are thrilled with the almost instant results.

“I get many referrals from satisfied clients who are delighted with their new look.”
