Santa and his fantastic sleigh have
been getting ready to tour Bridlington again this December with the help of the town’s voluntary Round Table
organisation.

The annual procession, with Father Christmas sat on his brightly lit sleigh,
will be followed by Round Table members and their collectors with official tabards raising funds for local good causes.

Sam Berridge, from Round Table, said: “We are hoping to beat the total we raised last year and aim for the £8000 mark this year.”

“There will also be an appearance by Santa with the Sleigh at the Old Town Festival on 1st December and then we
will be travelling around Bridlington over eight nights, plus one extra
night at Beeford. We will be handing out sweets and collecting donations
for local good causes. It’s a wonderful time of the year and it is fantastic to see the faces of youngsters (and
adults) light up.”

Please note: The Round Table Santa’s Sleigh is run entirely by volunteers and
cannot cover every road in Bridlington during the allocated nights of operation. Also a route may not run if there is any inclement weather.
