One of Bridlington’s most beloved attractions, the Yorkshire Belle, is preparing to welcome passengers once again as her summer 2026 cruise schedule is announced.
Affectionately known as the Grand Old Lady of Bridlington Harbour, the historic pleasure boat has carried hundreds of thousands of passengers over the decades, offering unforgettable coastal trips and helping generations of families create cherished seaside memories.
Skipper Peter Richardson confirmed that preparations are well underway following essential winter maintenance.
“Our cruise schedule is now available to view, with tickets on sale for cruises from Saturday 2nd May onwards,” he said.
“We’re hoping to begin sailing for two weeks over Easter, however, these dates aren’t available to book just yet while we continue with our winter maintenance and make sure we’re ready — or as close to ready as possible.
“The old girl needs plenty of TLC, and the weather hasn’t exactly been on our side.”
Despite the challenges, there is growing excitement ahead of the new season. Mr Richardson also revealed the vessel will soon be recruiting additional crew members.
“On another note, we will soon be advertising for more crew so if you’re interested, get in there early and send your CV to jobs@yorkshire-belle.co.uk,” he added.
“We can’t wait to welcome you onboard.”
Visitors can pre-book cruises online, although walk-up passengers remain welcome and can pay by cash or card at the harbour paybox. However, sailings remain subject to weather and sea conditions, and may be amended or cancelled at short notice.
