Bridlington footballer Kornel Miściur has signed for top football club Liverpool.
16-year-old Kornel has signed a 4-year professional contract as goalkeeper with Liverpool FC at Anfield.
Chris Kirkham, chairman of Burlington Jackdaws said: “Never in our dreams , did we ever think that one day , a player from Burlington Jackdaws would go on to sign for Liverpool FC.
“It’s an amazing story that for Kornel and his family and is only just about to begin.
“From playing with us at U7 to moving on to Hull City, he has now become a Liverpool player , absolutely incredibe.”
And another twist in this fantastic story is that Kornel’s agent is Bridlington-born football Richard Cresswell.
